(1) The inquiry committee shall exercise the powers exercised by the commission constituted under the Inquiry Commission Act, 2026 in relation to providing information to the judge of the High Court or District Court, receiving information, taking statements or understanding witness evidence. (6) If the person punished by the investigation committee in accordance with sub-section (4) apologizes to the satisfaction of the investigation committee, the investigation committee may not execute the punishment.
(7) After the completion of the investigation, the investigation committee shall submit the investigation report along with its opinion and related documents to the Secretariat of the Judicial Council.
